Let Women Throughout Time create a special event for your organization. We will combine
presentations, discussion, and guest speakers to honor both women and your organization.
Each special event will be tailored to your organization’s needs. Below is a sample of what we
can design for you.

                              A Day of Entrepreneurs
9:00 – 10:30: The Woman Entrepreneur – A seminar detailing the history of women
entrepreneurs, the current landscape and the future of women business owners.

Seminar topics will include:
  • Early entrepreneurs, such as Mary Katherine Goddard, who printed the first
    Declaration of Independence, and Eliza Lucas Pinckney, who introduced blue indigo
    dye into North America.
  • How entrepreneurial thinking can greatly benefit corporate decisions.
  • Modern women entrepreneurs and their imaginative and practical thinking.
  • The future trends of women business owners.

10:30-10:45: Break

10:45 – 12:00: “Entrepreneurial Thought” Discussion – Spend an hour discussing what
qualities will be important to an entrepreneur.

Discussion topics will include:
  • What qualities do women possess that will help them as entrepreneurs?
  • Is it possible to “learn” entrepreneurial thinking?
  • How can you foster creativity in the workplace?

12:00 – 1:00: Lunch

1:00 – 2:00: Bustles and Businesswomen – This presentation discusses several notable women
in business history and intertwines their stories with a glimpse at the times in which they lived
by intertwining women's history and the history of fashion.

2:00 – 2:15: Break

2:15 – 4:00: Panel Discussion – We conclude the day with a lively and informative panel
consisting of several local women entrepreneurs. We will discuss why they chose
entrepreneurship, how they started their businesses and their experiences as business owners.
